Welcome to Elf Connect! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, platform, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By using Elf Connect, you agree to these Terms.

1. About Elf Connect
   Elf Connect is an online marketplace that connects homeowners and businesses (“Customers”) with independent professional installers (“Installers”) who provide holiday lighting services. Elf Connect itself does not perform installation services. All installers are independent contractors and are not employees, agents, or representatives of Elf Connect.
   
   

2. Your Use of the Platform
   You agree to use Elf Connect only for lawful purposes and to provide accurate, complete information when submitting a service request. Elf Connect reserves the right to decline, remove, or modify listings or requests that violate these Terms or applicable law.
   
   

3. Relationship Between You and Installers
   Elf Connect’s role is limited to introducing Customers and Installers. Once connected, any services, pricing, or agreements are between you and the Installer directly. Elf Connect is not a party to any service agreement or transaction between Customers and Installers. Installers are solely responsible for their work, materials, tools, insurance, and compliance with safety standards.
   
   

4. Limitation of Liability
   Elf Connect does not supervise, control, or guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of any services provided by Installers. By using the platform, you acknowledge and agree that Elf Connect:

• Is not responsible for any damage to property, injury, or loss resulting from services provided by an Installer.

• Is not liable for any disputes, claims, or costs arising between you and an Installer.
  Any remedy or claim related to installation services must be made directly with the Installer.
  
  

5. Fees and Payments
   Elf Connect does not charge Customers for use of the platform. Installers may pay Elf Connect a referral or connector’s fee for matches made through the Service. All service pricing and payments are handled directly between Customers and Installers.
   
   

6. Disclaimers
   Elf Connect provides the platform on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Service or any installers listed. We do not guarantee availability, timeliness, or quality of any installation services.
   
   

7. Indemnification
   You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Elf Connect, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or interactions with Installers.
   
   

8. Updates to These Terms
   We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
